Iscoyd Park, a romantic Georgian country house in Shropshire, is delighted to announce a new Fabulous Friday wedding promotion. Between 1st June 2014 and 1st April 2015, five lucky couples can hire the stunning family home for two nights for the price of one. The wedding party can enjoy exclusive use of Iscoyd Park on a Thursday for two nights, with dinner, luxury bed and breakfast on both evenings, plus a wedding breakfast for up to 60 guests on the Friday, all for £12,000!
Wedding parties can relax in complete privacy in this much loved family home, with its beautiful park, glorious gardens and rich history and enjoy the 750 acres of parkland, providing endless opportunities to capture those special moments. The traditional house is the epitome of luxurious country living with a modern twist.
Whitewell is a charming church which seats up to 150 and is only a four-minute drive from Iscoyd Park. Flanked by trees, it sits in a beautiful and private setting and welcomes both weddings and blessings.
The large Georgian windows of Iscoyd Park frame breathtaking views of the rose and lavender gardens, carefully redesigned a few years ago by Michael Balston and Xa Tollemache – two of the UKs leading garden designers.
Couples are very welcome to plant their own personal tree at Iscoyd Park which will not only be a memento of their wedding for years to come but will also help in the regeneration of the parkland. A tree-planting ceremony can be arranged either on the big day itself (assuming that time allows) or the day after the wedding.
Iscoyd Park has a variety of stunning settings to enjoy the wedding feast. The Marquee, which accommodates 50 to 160 guests, boasts beautiful chandeliers and twinkling pea lights that give a romantic yet spectacular feel. For smaller parties of 50 guests or less, couples may prefer the Drawing Room with wooden floors, family portraits and classical paintings, a romantic and intimate setting.
There are a wide variety of activities on offer for wedding parties to enjoy within the Park. Clay pigeon shooting, archery and quad biking can be arranged on request or guests may wish to pamper themselves in the Secret Spa in preparation for the big day! The Secret Spa which has won several national awards including Salon of the Year, launched its new treatment rooms in one of Iscoyd’s newly converted stable buildings in Autumn 2011.
